Leslie was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988 and began practising in the area of Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation. In 1995 Leslie opened her own practice in Oakville, ON, concentrating on Employment Law.
Leslie’s practice is now restricted to Employment Law, Workplace Investigations and Mediation. In 2003, She was appointed as a Deputy Judge, Small Claims Court (part-time) and sits in Burlington and Milton.
One day in 2001 while Leslie was in her office minding her own business, an unassuming client walked in, sat down and asked her if she went to church. What happened next encourages all who hear Leslie’s testimony.
